I JUST MOVED

I Just Moved or Planning to Move

If you’re moving out of state or changing counties, you may need to make changes to your Medicare coverage.

Depending on your type of Medicare coverage, you may not need to to anything.

In some situation, you may be enrolled in a Medicare plan that is not offered in your new county or state. You may need to take action.

You may have a Special Election Period to make changes to your Medicare Part C or Part D coverage if:

  • You’re moving out of your Medicare plan’s service area.
  • You’re moving to a new location that’s still in your Medicare plan’s service area, but you also have new plan options available in your new area.

You only have a limited time to make these changes if you've recently moved.

Do you have any questions about your Medicare coverage if you’re moving to a different state or county?
